Renton's Indoor Public Market Nears Opening after $10 Million Makeover

PUGET SOUND BUSINESS JOURNAL - Renton’s long-anticipated, year-round indoor public market is getting closer to fruition.
The Renton Market and Piazza at 233 Burnett Ave. S. is set to open this June after construction finishes in May. The 11,783-square-foot indoor pavilion (and another 1,766-square-feet of outdoor space for events and programming) is designed for small incubator spaces, local food vendors and artisans and other community programming. It will contain space for 12 stalls.
The project involved extensive renovations to both the Renton Pavilion Events Center (also known as the Renton Market building) and the adjacent Piazza Park.
