Kent Valley isn’t just home to aerospace leaders—it’s a legacy hub for all types of advanced manufacturing research and development, from pioneering water jet technology to cutting-edge composite applications. 

Since 2005, the manufacturing sector here has grown by 18%, outpacing neighboring industrial areas within the greater Puget Sound. This growth isn’t only driven by transportation access; Kent Valley’s manufacturers benefit from a stock of industrial facilities as well as strong collegiate and trade programs that keep the workforce ready for the next innovation.

Food & Beverage 

With a diverse production base spanning coffee roasting, meat processing, and snack and frozen foods, Kent Valley is a vital link in the food supply chain. Located minutes from SeaTac International Airport and two deep-water ports, the area supports efficient national distribution and international exports. It processes a significant portion of the Bering Sea catch and exports raw and value-added products to East Asia.
