Boeing Supplier in Renton to be Acquired by Global Firm

PUGET SOUND BUSINESS JOURNAL: Boeing supplier Aero-Plastics Inc. of Renton is being acquired by Sweden-based company Trelleborg Group, the companies announced Jan. 31. Trelleborg is acquiring Aero-Plastics through its Trelleborg Sealing Solutions business unit.
Aero-Plastics specializes in high-performance plastics and interiors segments for the aerospace industry. The 80-year-old company has also manufactured products for the defense and medical industries and other commercial applications, according to its website.
